Designer Fashion Accessories: Spring 2011 Handbag Trends
The year has just begun but fashion doesn’t wait around for anyone! And if there’s one thing that changes year to year, season to season, it’s the kind of handbags we see. As far as designer fashion accessories go, these styles are ever changing.
The trends for Spring 2011 are popping up everywhere, so while we are wishing for warmer weather we can think ahead to what bags we’ll be sporting when that time comes.
Bright Colors: All over the runways, bright and bold colors are on handbags everywhere. We’re talking greens, reds, yellows and oranges. A lot of the designs tend to be solid colors, nothing with too much of a distracting pattern. And for such loud colors, solid is probably the best idea anyway!
Vintage: Vintage has been making a huge comeback all over the fashion world, from clothing to designer shoes for women. But it’s really going to be popping up for handbags. Small flap bags with chain shoulder straps and crocodile skin exteriors are popping up everywhere. If it looks like it came out of the 50s or 60s, it’s in style.
Denim: Denim has made a strong comeback last year in clothing, so it’s no wonder we are seeing it pop up with handbags. It’s all about clean denim, so nothing that looks like it’s been through wear and tear. Dark denim is especially nice.
Satchels: Satchel bags are coming back in as well. With the option to sling over the shoulder or just carry in hand, satchels are perfect for work or on the go when you need more than just your make up and keys with you.
